Installation
Unpacking and Preparing:
Remove the floor mats from the packaging and check that all ordered items in the set are present. However, please note that for logistical reasons, each set may be shipped in a separate package. Let the floor mats lie flat for 2-4 days to allow any creases (if present) to disappear. To speed up the process, you can also place the mats outdoors in sunlight or in a warm room for 24 hours.
(Temperature should be at least 22 degrees Celsius)
Note: In some cases, certain creases may not disappear immediately after the above time but may only smooth out after a few days inside the vehicle. However, the above steps should always be completed.
1) FOR THE FRONT FLOOR MATS:
- Remove the old floor mats from the vehicle and clean the footwell if necessary.
- Place the floor mats and secure them with the included fasteners.
- Ensure that on the driver's side, all pedals are fully operable, the mats stay firmly in place, and all vehicle components, such as the steering wheel, can be used without obstruction.
Note:
Our floor mats do not have built-in anchor points. If your original floor mats include such anchors, leave those in the vehicle and install the Maple mats on top.
2) FOR THE REAR FLOOR MATS:
- Remove the old floor mats from the vehicle and clean the footwell if necessary.
- Secure the floor mats properly using the included fasteners.
- Slide any excess mat material under the rear seats to ensure optimal protection for the rear sidewalls.
Note:
To ensure the seats remain fully functional in the future, our mats may not perfectly align with the guide rails in some vehicles.
General Notes:
To ensure the longevity of your floor mats:
- Always keep your feet on the designed pedal area while operating the pedals. Prolonged use outside this area may cause visible wear on the driver's side mats.
- Avoid stepping on the mats with sharp heels, heavy footwear, hard soles, or deep treads, as these can severely damage the material.
Read the installation instructions below carefully before starting the installation:
- Remove old floor mats.
- Adjust the driver’s seat: Move it all the way back and up.
-
Choose and attach the correct mat:
- Place the mat on the driver’s side and use the built-in clips and Velcro to secure it.
- Repeat for the passenger side.
- Check the attachment: Ensure that the mat does not move and that the clips are properly installed.
- Test the pedals: Verify that all pedals move freely before starting the vehicle.
-
Install rear seat mats:
- Slide the front seats forward, place the mats, and secure them with clips.
- Repeat these steps for the passenger side.
Follow these steps carefully to ensure proper and safe installation.
